HAROLD ARTHUR BURTON February 17, 1920 - August 4, 2005 Peacefully on August 4, 2005 at the Grace Hospital Harold Burton passed away. Harold, father of two, is survived by his wife Edna of 59 years. Harold's contributions to the world include a much decorated service record during the Second World War for the English army and SAS. He married his wife after his departure from the army. He took his family on a new adventure moving to Canada from the United Kingdom in 1957. Harold was active in his community and became a member of various organizations including the Irish Club, the Foresters, and others. Harold retired after 28 years of service to the City of Winnipeg in the Transit Department. Harold had four grandchildren that he was very close to. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Service will be held Tuesday, August 9 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sturgeon Creek Retirement Residence, 10 Hallonquist Dr.
